Saskatchewan Immigration Nomination Program

Saskatchewan is a prairie and boreal Province in western Canada. It is the only Province without a natural border. It has two main cities, Saskatoon and Regina and its economy are mainly based on agriculture and natural resources industries (forestry and finishing). Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) is Saskatchewan’s Provincial Nomination Program which allows aspiring immigrants to apply for permanent residency in Canada. These immigrants must meet the provincial criteria for skills and experience.
The SINP applications can be categorized under four classes:

  • International Skilled Worker Category
  • Saskatchewan Experience Category
  • Entrepreneur and Farm Category
  • International Graduate Entrepreneur Category

International Skilled Worker Category

The Skilled Workers from foreign who are willing to live and work in the Province of Saskatchewan can apply for permanent residency through one of the following subcategories of this program:

  • International Skilled Worker – Employment Offer
  • International Skilled Worker – Occupation In Demand
  • International Skilled Worker – Saskatchewan Express Entry

Saskatchewan Experienced Category

The foreign workers right now living/working in Saskatchewan can apply for permanent residency through one of the following subcategories of this program:

  • Existing Work Permit
  • Health Professionals
  • Hospitality Sector Project
  • Long Haul Truck Drivers
  • Students

Entrepreneur and Farm Category

The aspiring immigrants who want to start or run a business or pursue farming in Saskatchewan can apply for permanent residency through one of the following subcategories of this program:

  • Entrepreneur Sub Category
  • Farm Owners and Operators Sub Category

International Graduate Entrepreneur Category

International Students who graduate from one of the eligible post-secondary institutes of Saskatchewan and are planning to start a business there can apply for permanent residency through this category. They are bound to run their business in Saskatchewan for at least a year before they apply for a provincial nomination.
